ABOUT

ECKE FAEI was founded by Freya Grötecke and Julia Forslund in 2020.

The duo met during their university years and wanted to explore how their combined skill sets and personal aestethics could bring about a new language of creativity.

Their current project is described as a ‘visual exploration of the imbalance of power felt by the working class’.

Inspiration was taken for the collection via the ‘Sword of Damocles’ and also Shelley’s ‘Masque of Anarchy’. All of which feed into the intention of ‘communicating the resilience of communities fighting for a better tomorrow’.
